Jacob: "To Nana and Papaw's house and read a book the whole way there!"

Olivia's First Day of Preschool

I cried, of course, but Olivia was great! She got out of the car and walked in like she owned the place! She was SOOO excited! I can't wait to pick her up so she can tell me all about it. Our house is WAY too quiet!

Soooooo, I cried like a baby! But, I made it to the car before I started! WOO!
He was wonderful. No tears. He wasn't upset at all. He was just happy to be there. Which made it a lot easier to leave.

Anyway, here are a few pictures. Olivia says she misses him already. :(

Open House

Jacob visited his classroom and met his teacher this afternoon. Her name is Mrs. McFather. As in, "Luke, I am your McFather." hee hee

He starts pre-K tomorrow and he is SO excited! I, on the other hand, don't know how I'll walk him into school and leave him there. I'm sure I'll be a total mess tomorrow! Pray for me... :o)

Happy 3rd Birthday Olivia!

Welcome to our family blog

Okay, let me first say...I have NEVER created a blog before. So, all of this is fairly new to me. But, I'm hoping this will make aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, etc. ( I would say grandparents, but none of them have internet access...) happy with updated pictures and stories.

A little about our family:
I am Amanda. I will be the one keeping this blog updated. I am also referred to as Mommy. I'm a stay-at-home-Mommy and I love it! I also have an online business. Sugar-N-Snails offers children's clothing and embroidery, purses, diaper bags, koozies, baby items, and lots of other things. Go check it out!

My husband is Mark. He works full time at Coosa Valley Technical College as the Director of the Radiology Program. He's also Jacob's t-ball coach and master of baths and bedtime!

Jacob is 4 and is ALL boy! He's playing his first year of t-ball and he loves it! He will start pre-K in August, at Glenwood Primary School. He's super excited about it.

Olivia is 2 and a true girly girl. She loves anything pink and sparkley, getting her nails painted (pink, of course...), and twirling like a balderina (ballerina). She will start preschool in August at First Baptist in Rome and she's somewhat excited. She calls it "pretty school" and wants to know if it's pink.

Mark has 2 daughters from a previous marriage, but we don't see them often. :(

Lauren is 16 and in love. She's a very talented artist and singer. Click here to see some of her artwork.

Andrea is 8 and loves to play soccer. She's a sweet child and very energetic. Jacob adores her.

So, that's a little about our family. I will try to remember to keep this blog updated often.
